ICT integrators organized a cisco technology awareness event in 2024, bringing together technical discussions and product demonstrations focused on network access control and next-generation network security. The event provided participants with an opportunity to learn about cisco security technologies and understand their applications across wired and wireless environments.
The event included an awareness session on the cisco network access control (NAC) solution, focusing on the importance of controlling and securing access to organizational networks. Network access control plays an important role in modern security environments by helping organizations manage which users and devices can access network resources.
A key part of the event was a demonstration of cisco identity services engine (ISE) for both wired and wireless networks. The demonstration provided participants with an understanding of how identity-based network access policies can be implemented across different connectivity environments.
Participants were also introduced to cisco FTD next-generation firewall (NGFW) capabilities. The demonstration highlighted the role of next-generation firewall technologies in protecting enterprise network environments and managing network security requirements.
